Another project that has bubbled to the surface is redoing the fabric in my living room. Hubby’s chair totally needs to be re-covered, so I’m changing the color scheme in there. I’ve been loving my Autumn Splendor palette, so I’m going to work with those colors. I’ll use solid colors for hubby’s new slipcover, a slipcover for my chaise lounge, and hubby’s desk chair that needs re-upholstering, so I’ve made two linen curtain panels and am dyeing them multicolor. These panels are long and heavy, thus I had to dye them on a couple of tables stretched out on the lawn. With the days getting shorter, the setting sun made for some interesting pictures!

Wow! That was a mammoth task!
whew! what a woman!
I wish I were your neighbor. I’d be hanging over the fence like a little kid watching you dye every minute. I just love the beauty of this! Also, Congrats on the cover of Quilting Arts Gifts! I saw it at the bookstore and wanted to stop everyone and say, “Hey that’s my friend!!”
