New Improv Pieced Pillows Complete

Hooray! The pillows I wanted to make for the living room are complete! The lighting is hard in my living room, so I brought them outside to take some well lit pictures. Unfortunately, I set the basket with the pillows down on the hot tub ledge and one of the pillows JUMPED into the pool! Unbelievably it floated! I QUICKLY walked into the pool to rescue it before it floated beyond my reach and/or sank! The pool was surpisingly warmer than I thought it would be, but I only went in up to my knees!

This portion of the pillow is about my favorite bit of all the pillows!

Ooooh, I think this is my favorite pillow:

What’s your favorite???

I also finished a pillow a customer wanted me to make them after they say my linen bread bags.

  1. They are all lovely. My favorite is the one that took a bath. The quilting that both enhances the vertical shape of the patchwork inset while bringing in just a little bit of curve shaping…great. I just love the juiced up colors that seem to be more popular in places that are warmer year round. Here, the majority people seem to favor muted colors; my niece even wants grey as the main color in a BABY quilt. sigh.
