I love to keep track of the first and last roses in my garden each year. Believe it or not, roses are really late this year! Our awesome rain has been accompanied by colder than normal temperatures for here, which of course is still ridiculously warm for someone who grew up in Massachusetts, a land with actual seasons! But here are the first blooms from my Lady Banks Rose:
She is filled with buds and will burst out with hundreds of blooms in just a few days, hooray!
