Lots of Christmas Presents Made and Gifted!

I am still solidly in vacation mode! But I can finally share a lot of the presents I made and gave this holiday season. First up is a lot of indigo dyeing! I dyed underwear for my 17 year old nephew, and scarves for nieces and sister-in-laws:

Bryce absolutely LOVED his underwear, his mom said it was his favorite present! 😉

Next up were pillows! My niece Karyssa has graduated from college and moved into her first apartment. When she posted pix of her apartment on Facebook I noticed she was missing color, so I sat down with her at the wedding I went to in November and had her choose colors and motifs for a pair of pillows.

And my newly married nephew Ryan and his wife Kaitlin are totally jeans kinda people:

so I knew a pair of indigo dyed linen pillows would be right up their alley. I stitched their names and wedding date on one of them, so Ryan has no excuse to forget their anniversary date!

Last up is a lot of baby clothes for Lincoln, the third baby born to our niece Flannery. He’s almost in 6 month clothes now, so I dyed 3 pants and 6 long sleeve rompers in size 6 month, and then another 3 pair of pants and six short sleeve rompers in size 12 month for this summer. Of course, baby sox are pretty much 1 size fit all, so 6 of those as well, and then a couple of flannel blankies are useful for all sorts of the things. I get all these baby blanks from Dharma Trading and am always very happy with the quality.

I made 2 more presents, but will give them their own post because there’s more details I want to share about those!
