Modern Patchwork Gifts 2016

The folks at Interweave/F&W Media have rebranded Quilting Arts Gifts into Modern Patchwork Gifts. I’ll have to admit that made me a bit sad – my very first published pattern was my little mod house ornaments in the 2010 editions of Quilting Arts Gifts. I really really love all things Christmas, so have always been inspired with lots of ideas to submit for publication in this holiday issue each year, and have had at least one (and up to four!) patterns published in each yearly edition since 2010. I am happy to continue the tradition with my clipped zipper pouch pattern in this year’s Modern Patchwork gifts:

As always, the magazine is filled with fun projects for either holiday decorating or gift giving, and then a fun recipe section from the contributors as well. This year I contributed a recipe for saltine toffee that works really well in care packages to Liam.

As I worked my way through the magazine I was happily surprised to see that they had re-printed my retro ornaments pattern from Quilting Arts Holiday 2014 too!

I absolutely love how they styled them!
