Studio Snapshots | Dyeing Dyeing Dyeing!

The weather here in Redlands has been unseasonably cool, and by that I mean that it hasn’t been getting up to the 90’s every day. I knew that this wasn’t going to last (and indeed, it started heating up today and Monday they’re saying it’ll be up to 110), so I’ve been dyeing up a storm!!! All sorts of indigo dyeing for my upcoming “Mood Indigo” show in mid-July:

And then 29 yards of fabric dyed with Procion MX:

I’ve got a lot of ironing to do!

  1. There are some very unique pieces there. Not what I would want to do in 110 degree heat is iron.
