My cousin Jess and her hubby Jim are expecting their first, and she’s a girl! (It’s amazing, she’s over seven months pregnant and it barely shows!)
I dyed up a bunch of baby clothes and was able to bring them to the shower over the weekend:
They were a big hit!
I also made the baby a bucket to hold books and then everybody in my family chose their favorite children’s book and we bought new copies for their baby (when I first told the boys about this, they thought I was suggesting we give the baby THEIR copies and were HORRIFIED! Ah, that warms the cockles of my heart…favorite childhood books are so important, aren’t they?)
It was a great day…and this baby is going to be well dressed!!!
