Quilt Scene 2013 | Giveaway!

I received a couple complimentary copies of International Quilt Festival Quilt Scene 13/14 because my organizer baskets pattern is in it!

I designed them to fit on an Ikea Fintorp hanging rail, but I absolutely LOVE how they styled them in the magazine! It gives me an idea to make more for my studio! (I’ll put in on the list!)

  1. I have never been to the Int’l Quilt Festival in Houston but would really like to. It’s a tad bit far from my home in Florida, but you never know, maybe one day!

  2. Wow, those baskets are beautiful!! I have never gone to QM & doubt I ever will, so I live vicariously through all the photos.

  3. I just want to go, have not been able to yet, but saving my spending money for someday!!!

  4. I went to the Sisters, Oregon quilt show (always the second weekend) in July with some friends who go every year. Great event! And these friends (who happen to be sisters!) have been to Houston. They say it is the ultimate quilt show. Huge!

  5. I, like you, have never been to the Houston Quilt Show. I do go to the Dallas show every year and it is fabulous. I understand the Houston show is about a million times bigger. What fun!!

    If anyone else is reading this, look into Candy’s Dying 100 class if you have ANY interest in learning to dye. So easy and so fun!!!

  9. I also have never been to Int’l Quilt Show, but one day! Houston is a great city and lots of fun, but I think it would be even more fun during the quilt show. I always get this issue, my virtual trip to the show. Thanks for the chance to win a copy.

  10. Yes, I went to the Houston Quilt Festival like four year ago with my daughter and had a very good time…even so I am far for it/California / I was worth it…

  27. I have never been to the Houston Show, but I am going to take classes at the Road to California in January!! I met a quilter though my blog who has invited me to go stay with her and we signed up for a weeks worth of classes! She is here in Canada now and we are actually meeting tomorrow for the first time. I told her it feels like a blind date! lol Boy, I hope she likes me or she may regret that invitation!! Quilters are such great people…..
