One Moment | Saying Thank You

It has been a LONG time since I’ve written a “One Moment” post, life’s been so busy! Of course, the point of posts like these is to try to capture and remember the little things in our days that shouldn’t be forgotten!

The kids have been back to school almost 2 months now, and they’ve both been having a pretty good year. The one worry spot with Logan was Math…he insisted on not even applying for Honors Math last Spring because he was “no good at math”. (He’s doing quite well in Honors English and Science this year, he’s actually a pretty bright kid!). Logan can be a bit stubborn, and he decided years ago that he didn’t like math, and although he’s done fine in the subject, it’s been a bit of a struggle.

This has all changed in the last month. He’s started talking about how good he is in math, and how well he’s doing on the tests, it’s been a complete 180! I know that it’s all due to his teacher, Mrs. Devi, so I sent her an email to let her know the about changes I’ve been seeing and to thank her, because I know it’s all because of her!

We need to remember to say thanks to the folks that make a difference in our kids lives! Yay Mrs. Devi!

  1. Logan is just too stinking cute! And those glasses are a scream! He is precious and apparently extremely bright…very nice of you to send a thank you to his teacher!

  2. A good teacher can make such a difference. I remember Chemistry in secondary school, I took a revision course before my final exam, and it was like a lightbulb went off in my head, all of a sudden it all made sense!
