I “faux snow-dyed” some luscious fabric over the weekend, and a few of the pieces really reminded me of Monet’s garden. So I decided I’d make another Botanical Sketches quilt and stitch some of my favorite flowers from Giverny. I thought I’d snap some pix along the way and show you what I’ve been up to!
I should be able to show you the finished piece in a day or two – it’s looking lovely!
Great colors together- it will be beautiful!
These are really stunning! Thank you for sharing. You are giving me ideas for using my hand dyed fabrics. I get to go on my annual dye retreat next week. I can’t wait to get messy! Thank you for sharing.
Oh Wow! Such delicious colour.
Beautiful colours – but how is faux snow dyeing done?
