Mid-month Goal Check In

Well, I’m looking at this list, and some of the things done seem SO LONG ago! Obviously, the 1st 2 weeks of school completely consumed me. And the actual sewing I did occurred way back Labor Day Weekend! I did a lot of computer work last weekend…I’m still on a steep learning curve with Illustrator, those banners took WAY more time than I thought they would. But, fingers crossed, they’re fine and something I don’t have to repeat. I did take some time yesterday to start and almost finish an art quilt entry for the Animals show at the RAA – it’s due today, so I’ve gotta rush home after I teach and get that finished up!

I also did a bunch more work on Artists for a Cause, this little show has grown this year, and it’s definitely a lot of work. Here’s hoping the work results in more sales for the artists, and lots of moola for this year’s chosen local charity, the Redlands Bowl Association. (All the artists donate 20% of their sales). I received the postcards I designed for this from Vista Print the other day, and they’re awesome! Very nice quality. I also designed a poster, which I’ll show you now so I don’t leave you without anything to see!
