My Final Piece in the Bird/Home Series

Earlier in the week, I told you about a group of 3 pieces I rushed to finish to enter in the Multi Media Mini Show at my local Art association. They are all based off a spectacular piece of my hand dyed fabric (if I do say so myself, I’m so sorry I didn’t take a picture of it before I started whacking it apart) and focus on the idea of a bird’s home. I’m happy to report that all 3 pieces were juried into the show, and I’ve been told that my tree is in the window of the gallery – woohoo!

Here’s my 3rd piece, that I just BARELY had time to finish:

bird houseI was so crazed getting this done, my hubby  joked that this was the art version of the foodtv show “Chopped”! There will be more bird houses in my future.

Here are all 3 of the pieces together. Part of me hopes that they all come home so I can work on better photos – the other part of me hopes they SELL at the show! 😉
