My beginning free motion quilting class at the Redlands Sewing Center was a blast! We had a lot of fun, and I got 10 real beginner quilters turned into confident explorers of free motion quilting, hooray!

I’ve had a 3-session class at the Redlands Sewing Center every other month since March…although that doesn’t SOUND like a lot, it certainly FELT like a lot! I’m done teaching there until next January, things get really busy in the Fall, and the closer we get to the holidays the harder it is to fill a 3 session class so this works out well! I’ve got to plan a couple of new classes to add to my offerings there next year, so that will be bubbling away in the back of my head for awhile

Now, I’ve got to think ahead. I’ve got a few ideas for some magazine articles, I want to get those proposals out the door. Then a couple of home dec projects to finish up, one which I’m waiting on hubby for, and since he’s hard at work on the outside spruce up I’m waiting until he’s done with that before adding to his “honey-do” list! And then I’ve got a big show in mid-October to prep for, so that’s the bulk of what I’ll be working on in the studio!
