Studio Snapshots | 26 Yards

This not very glamorous picture is 26 yards of my Jewel Tone color palette in the process of being dyed. I need a bunch to make kits for the folks taking my tablet class next week, plus it’s time to start making for Fall shows. It’s a gazillion degrees out there (probably up to 104F today) so I’ll be able to rinse as soon as it gets cool out there.

It’s kind of amazing that those tubs turn into stuff that looks like this:

Ah, I love color… I’ve been working with this palette for a couple of years now, and I still LOVE it!

  1. Beautiful. I wish I had seen these back when was making my own photo backgrounds for portraits. These would have made great backgrounds.
