One Moment | Liam’s Second Year at Idyllwild Music Camp

Yesterday we took Liam up to Idyllwild for a 2 week music camp at Idyllwild Arts Academy. This is the second year he’s gone here, (here are pix from last year). Knowing what to expect made things a bit easier on all of us! (We also got there a half and hour before we were supposed to register and lo and behold, no lines! They were horrible last year…note to self: remember this!)

We got him set up in his dorm room, the one roommate who was already there was nice, I am very hopeful they get along!  Here’s his room – it will never look this clean again!

Logan is going to miss Liam!

We then had Liam take us to where his audition was, checking to make sure he knew where to go!

Woot! As I was finishing this post I got a facebook message from one of the trombone teachers at Idyllwild – they thought he played really well at the audition and he earned top chair in the High School Wind Ensemble! Mom pride wants me to point out that he’s one of the youngest kids in that group!
