Modern Patchwork | A New Magazine from Quilting Arts

Wahoo! Look what arrived in my mail today! Modern Patchwork is a new magazine by the folks at Quilting Arts, and I’ve got two different projects in it! It was nice to see editorial director Helen Gregory on the inside front cover – I gave her a hand dyed silk scarf last summer when I taped my DVD (as a thank you for all her awesome help getting that DVD ready) and it was a perfect part of that outfit complementing her laptop bag. Also really neat was that Jacquie Gering designed that really cool table runner made with Jan DiCintio’s “Shades of Grey” fabric, which I used in my convertible totes as well!

There are tons and tons of cool projects in there, I can’t wait to make some of them! I really like that they included LOTS of pix and figures in the patterns, here’s a couple pages of my patterns as an example:

You can should be able to find this magazine in magazine racks at places like Barnes & Noble as well as directly from Interweave, and they have a downloadable version as well.
