Postcards from the Sierras: day 5

Logan and I went to see the ghost town in Bodies while Liam and Dad went fishing.

Postcards from the Sierras: Day 4

I hope you all are enjoying these, I’m loving that I can process pix as I go and not end up with this huge amount of pictures that seems unsurmountable after returning from vacation!

Postcards from the Sierras: Day 3

We went for a big hike on Wednesday, destination Barney Lake. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough water/stamina, so we didn’t reach the lake It sure was a beautiful hike though!

Postcards from the Sierras: day 2

The second day we rented a boat and spent a long time fishing on Upper Twin Lake. 4 beautiful rainbow trout were caught – 2 of which were dinner. Logan doesn’t care much for fishing…and me, well, I can steer the boat with one hand and read a book with the other!

Postcards from the Sierras: day 1

I’m a bit behind but thought I’d share some pix from our trip. Here are a few pictures from our first day on vacation. Although there’s no signal around the cabin there is some about 10 minutes drive towards the booming metropolis of Bridgeport.

Fun in the pool

While we’re on vacation I hope to be able to blog from my Droid so I thought I’d give it a go!

One Moment: Vacation is Coming!

As I’ve been working this week, on custom bag 1, custom bag 2 and one more that’s 75% done, I’ve noticed that I’m easily distracted. I admitted that it was possible that even I needed our upcoming vacation. I’d purchased a bunch of clothing blanks months ago in hopes of prettifying my wardrobe, and I…

Custom Messenger Sized for a Flute

This is officially the biggest bag I’ve ever made! An old friend of mine wanted me to make a bag for her daughter Allison to carry her flute in. Flutes cases are 17″ long, so I super sized a mega messenger so the flute would fit. I also customized the inside of the bag with…
