We went for a big hike on Wednesday, destination Barney Lake. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough water/stamina, so we didn’t reach the lake It sure was a beautiful hike though!
The second day we rented a boat and spent a long time fishing on Upper Twin Lake. 4 beautiful rainbow trout were caught – 2 of which were dinner. Logan doesn’t care much for fishing…and me, well, I can steer the boat with one hand and read a book with the other!
I’m a bit behind but thought I’d share some pix from our trip. Here are a few pictures from our first day on vacation. Although there’s no signal around the cabin there is some about 10 minutes drive towards the booming metropolis of Bridgeport.
