Final New House in my Neighborhood

I have reveled in the fact that I’ve been able to show something new on the blog everyday this week as I’m winding down the school year! Next week summer vacation starts in earnest, I can’t wait to put together all the stuff I’d like to get done! For now, here’s my last house, it’s…

One Moment: School’s Out for Summer!

Wahoo! Summer has started! I finished my last  class today, and I’m free, free, free for the summer! I’ve got huge plans for the summer, with lots of stuff to add to my todo lists, but I wanted to stop and just revel a bit in the joy I get from teaching. My job at the University…

Welcome to my neighborhood: day 5

Today is my last day of school! My students give their presentations, and (the theory is) I’ll grade those, get final grades calculated and posted and then I’m done! (Well, except for graduation on Saturday…) I fell asleep at 9:30 last night, I must be tired! Anyway, I’m having fun sharing my wee little houses…

I’m workig hard with 6 more days of classes left and a magazine article due Friday. I sent the houses off today (big phew) but was able to snap a few pix before I did, here’s one: Hope ya’ll are having a great week!

She is a printmaker, but doesn’t repeat things, each piece she makes is one of a kind. Sound familiar? Seriously, kind of scary, how much  my process resembles hers. If you don’t see the…

One Moment: Bees Bees Everywhere!

I’m working on my 2nd article, I really want to get the houses and stepouts in the mail tomorrow so I was out back searching for a branch so I could take a few pictures. We have a huge bottle brush tree that the hummingbirds just love, but it turns out that bees love them…
