Some Belated Thanks!

I’ve got to same some belated thanks! The prize for winning the Recycled Christmas Ornament contest in two parts, the 1st part, from Amy of Things We Make was some awesome books and fabric (now I DID blog about that part), but Modge Podge Rocks AMY, sent me another package that arrived in early January as well! It’s a stuff bucket filled with – stuff! mostly Modge Podge! Good thing Amy has a whole blog devoted to using it – I can see some serious modge podging in my future! ;-) Amys-prize

Next – I finally had time and weather combine last weekend to get some dyeing done. 3 of the folks who won my giveaway waaaaay back in November finally have their own custom dyed fabric:

Mod Podge looks great and inspiring… The fabric looks wonderful and I love the dress… sadly the boys wouldn’t appreciate it!

I saw that one yard wonders book at a recent retreat. There are so many great ideas in that book. It is a great resource book to inspire young sewers.
